Council is a short two hour drive from the Boise airport and about 45 minutes from Hell’s Canyon wilderness area, North America’s deepest gorge and home to some of the best hunting and backpacking in the country.

At about 3,000 foot elevation, Council experiences mild winters and summers. Council Greens is a community of 91 home sites surrounding a 9 hole Executive Golf Course. Home sites range in size from just over 9,000 square feet to over an acre. Homeowners in Council Greens will have stunning views of the surrounding mountains, lush meadows, creeks and woods. Nearby natural hot springs are just the antidote after a day of skiing or hiking. Step outside, and one enters a pristine wonderland of outdoor adventure, and yet is close to the City of Council, with its restaurants, grocery store, and bank.
